Yes, being one of the main tourist destinations in Colombia, we are proud to say that Villa de Leyva is very safe. You can move freely and breathe pure air in all of our recommended rides.
HOW DO I GET TO VILLA DE LEYVA?
The easiest way is by taking a direct bus from the northern bus portal in Bogotá. Be sure it's the direct bus route to Villa de Leyva that will pass through Samacá. It should take you aproximately 3 hours from Bogotá to Villa de Leyva. These direct buses, from the "Valle de Tenza" company, leave Bogotá at 6:30am, 7am, 12m and 3:30pm.
An alternate route is taking a bus to Tunja (which leave Bogotá every 20 minutes and is a 2 hour ride). In Tunja you can board another bus to Villa de Leyva (the last bus from Tunja to Villa leaves at 7pm, so be sure to leave Bogotá before 4:30pm to be sure to get to the conection bus to Villa in time).

The bicycles we offer are for people with a minimum height of 1.50 meters (5 ft). Due to the character of our routes, we do not recommend going with small children or infants. For this reason we do not supply bicycles for children or toddlers, nor we have any kind of accesories for carrying infants and newborns. Safety is always a priority for us.
