HOW MUCH DOES THE BICYCLE RENTAL COST?

We know that the Lonely Planet have listed us again as a bicycle rental place, but they haven't updated their info about Villa de Leyva in more than 4 years, we're very sorry for the inconvenience we don't rent bicycles anymore. Now we're just providing the guidance service, please book if you can bring your own equipment or rent a bicycle somewhere else. If you don't have a car, we can arrange transportation.

Guided tours include:

- A knowledgeable local bilingüal guide that will describe all the tourist attractions, flora and fauna, history and mythology of the region.

- Direct mechanical assistance and First-Aid if needed.

IS VILLA DE LEYVA SAFE?

Yes, being one of the main tourist destinations in Colombia, we are proud to say that Villa de Leyva is very safe. You can move freely and breathe pure air in all of our recommended rides.

 

HOW DO I GET TO VILLA DE LEYVA?

The easiest way is by taking a direct bus from the northern bus portal in Bogotá. Be sure it's the direct bus route to Villa de Leyva that will pass through Samacá. It should take you approximately 3 hours from Bogotá to Villa de Leyva. Get some extra tips HERE

 

HOW CAN I BOOK FOR  A GUIDED TOUR?

Its crucial to complete the reservation process in order to ensure the proper date and/or guide.

IF I TRAVEL ALONE, CAN I GO ON ANY OF THE TOURS WITH A GUIDE?

Yes, but if you find a companion in your hotel, you can share the price of the guide and transportation, now that it is the same for two persons as it is for one.
